Staffing Philosophy and Goals

The International School of Panama will provide educational programs of the highest standard that available resources will allow. Success in attaining this goal is dependent primarily upon the competency of the professional staff and of those who serve in direct supporting positions to the instructional program of the school. 

The school wishes to employ quality professional staff and to retain the services of such personnel for the betterment and improvement of the educational objectives of the school. Teaching Positions

ISP is actively seeking qualified teachers in the local and international market who wish to help us fulfill our school's mission. September marks the beginning of the recruitment cycle for positions for the following school year, but applications can be submitted when the list of open positions becomes available.

We encourage interested applicants to register and attend one of the job fairs listed below. Interview appointments will be made in advance through the divisional principals or with our school staff directly at the recruiting fair. A preliminary Skype interview may also be possible. The list of openings will be updated continually during the recruitment period and throughout the year.

Openings

Teaching Positions Beginning 2018-2019 School Year

  • Elementary Homeroom Teachers (K-5th)

Currently Available Positions (School Year 2017-2018)

  • None at this time. 

Other Teaching Opportunities

  • Substitute teachers needed (on call) - Requires interested candidates to have a valid work permit.
    We are seeking individuals for substitute teaching. Individuals must have legal permission to work in Panama and previous experience working with children in an educational setting. Immediate availability, flexibility, and language proficiency in English.
  • Teacher Assistants 2017-2018 – Requires interested candidates to have a valid work permit.
    On a regular basis we have openings for teacher assistants. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma, work permit if not Panamanian; proficiency in the English language is required. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent work environment.
  • Open 2017-2018

        ISP is actively seeking qualified professionals in the local market who wish to help us fulfill our school's mission. Candidates wishing to apply for a non-instructional position should have a valid work permit.
