General Criteria

a) Potential of applicant to benefit from education offered at ISP.

b) Ability of the school to serve the needs of the child.

c) Availability of space in the grade.

d) Results of entrance tests.

Interested parents should arrange for a brief interview with the Principals or the Director, if there are any questions about the school's academic program.

Factors of ability, maturity and experience will also be considered in placement.

 

Priorities

The following section is taken from the School's Policy Manual, Section 8.301. Admissions are based on the following priorities:

  1. Siblings of current ISP students.
  2. Children of transient international families. (These are families where at least one parent is not a Panamanian citizen and the family is temporarily transferred to Panama due to the employment of that parent by a multinational company or institution or the parent is part of the diplomatic community.)
  3. Others.
