IB NEWS

- As of May 2004, 24 new applicants to the IB Diploma program were accepted.  (19 full acceptance and 5 provisional acceptance). 

- On May 26, the seniors were honored at the club de golf.  16 IB Diploma students received IB pins and white chords as an appreciation for their hard work during the two year IB journey

- The International School of Panama's IB program is now officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education.  Many thanks to Mr. Carlo Santarelli for being of great assistance to us during this process.

- In September 2003, the senior IB students traveled to El Valle to conduct experiments in IB Physics, IB Chemistry and IB Biology as part of the Group 4 project.  The students had to set their experiments, gather data, analyze data, and present it.  This is one of the experiences that makes the IB program such a comprehensive program.    -The senior IB Art class ,under the supervision of Mrs. Emily Zhukov, held their art exhibit last Tuesday, April 17 at restaurant La Boheme.  It also included a fashion show where students wore the designs of our talented designer Krystal Holnes.  Click here to view the pictures

From November 1-7, our IB diploma students ( Gabriel Ballard, Richard Ballard, Derek Cooper, Viktoria Fruhling, Alex Lee, Ann Smith, Enrique Vargas, Maria A. Vergara, and Carly Wiskowski) dedicated their vacation time to participate in the development of self- sustainable farms for poor farmers at a farm called Loma del Cope which is located in the province of Herrera.  This has been a gratifying experience for all students.  For pictures, please click here
