IB DIPLOMA REGISTRATION PROCESS
All IB diploma aspirants must complete a formal registration process which includes the following:
- Completion of an application (download the application in Rich Text Format)
- Teacher recommendations (download the form in Rich Text Format)
- Grade transcript from 9th and10th grade
An IB committee comprised of the IB Coordinator, the Principal and the Counselor will carefully review each application and make the necessary recommendations. IB Students will either be accepted in one of the following categories as Full IB Diploma, Provisional IB Diploma (On probation) or IB Certificate. IB students who are accepted on probation will have one bimester to demonstrate successful transition into the program. The IB committee reserves the right to drop a student’s IB diploma status in the following cases:
1) Poor academic performance in two or more IB subjects
2) Failure to meet IB deadlines
3) Plagiarism
4) Poor performance in the probationary period (applicable to provisional IB Diploma candidates)
5) Failure to meet IB requirements
