ISP Honored to be selected by NASA for In-Flight Educational Downlink

Last year a team of ISP Faculty and Staff worked diligently to submit an application to be selected as a school for this special event. We are filled with anticipation for this special event!

In-flight education downlinks are opportunities for students and educators to interact with astronauts aboard the International Space Station during a live, 20-minute question-and-answer session. Downlinks provide audiences the opportunity to learn first-hand from space explorers what it is like to live and work in space. NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement facilitates these events, designed to enhance student interest, learning and performance in STEM!

The ISP downlink will occur on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, between 10:30 am and 12 noon. The event will take place in the PAC, but will also be streamed to other campus locations and through the power of the internet!  More details to come soon!
