In-flight education downlinks are opportunities for students and educators to interact with astronauts aboard the International Space Station. During a live, 20-minute NASA astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Meir will answer questions from students K-12
Downlinks provide audiences the opportunity to learn first-hand from space explorers what it is like to live and work in space. NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement facilitates these events, designed to enhance student interest, learning and performance in STEM!
Last year a team of ISP Faculty and Staff worked diligently to submit an application to be selected as a school for this special event. We are filled with anticipation for this special event!
The ISP downlink will occur on Friday, January 24, 2020, from 10:00 to 11:00 EST. The event will take place in ISP venues and will also be streamed to other campus locations and through www.nasa.gov/nasalive
