Middle School Builds Community at Retreat

On Friday, the ISP Middle School spent the day building community (and having fun!) at Ciudad Deportiva Kiwanis in Ciudad del Saber. One of the primary goals of the Middle School program at ISP is to ensure the joy and well-being of each and every one of our students, and the MS retreat was just one of the many ways our program supports that goal.

The students kicked off the day by practicing their grade level chants, which were created by teachers at our beginning of year staff retreat, and then presented their chant in front of the other two grades.

After the class chants, students rotated through numerous activities in different groups including their advisories, buddy advisories, grade levels, and finally, their mixed-grade-level pods. From chuck the chicken to capture the flag, kickball to shipwreck, students and teachers truly demonstrated the joy behind being an ISP Dolphin.
