In today’s busy life we find that there can be a great variety of stressors and challenges that we are forced to face on a daily basis. The way that we cope and handle these situations are more than important to consider in order to live a healthy balanced life.
We believe in facilitating experiences for our students and school community that are guided towards general well being, one that embraces all areas of development such as; mental, physical and emotional aspects. Therefore, our school will be celebrating Health and Wellness Week from Sept.9th-13th. During this time we will offer a few guided activities planned to engage everyone in healthy ways of looking at themselves, their lives and the experiences that surround them. Our aim is to bring awareness to the different resources we have available that can help make our lives much healthier and manageable.
Wellness week is a great opportunity to reflect on our daily habits and start making healthy choices. We are looking forward to providing our students and parents specific events that will support this important initiative. On Sept 12th from 8-10 am we will have an activity for parents that will be hosted by Breaking Down the Walls, a program designed to unify, empower, and engage every student to create a positive and supportive campus culture. We look forward to seeing you all there and we hope that this week provides an opportunity to continue on the path of building wellness into our daily life style.
