Middle School Students Follow Passions during I-Time

Over the course of the past couple of weeks, Middle School students have had the opportunity to create a passion project that they will work on each Thursday during “I-Time.” During advisory, students (and their teachers) were asked to brainstorm and select a skill or activity that they are passionate about and would like to learn more about. Each Thursday, students have the opportunity to practice that skill during their advisory period. From bracelet making to developing apps, cooking to guitar, archery to soccer, we are dedicating time each week to give students a chance to develop new skills and try things that they may have never done before.

As the semester progresses, students will have the opportunity to reflect on their progress and will have a chance to present their project to their peers. Stay tuned for more updates over the course of the semester!
