Asynchronous Learning in Middle School

As ISP, we believe that high quality instruction includes both synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities. Please watch this short video to learn more about the two different types of lessons, the benefits of each, and how to find which type of lesson your student has that day.

Clubs in Middle School

We are exploring options to start three virtual clubs in the Middle School, so please stay tuned for more information from Kaitlyn (MS Assistant Principal) soon! As of now, we are in the process of trying to launch:

  • Middle School Leadership
  • Coding Club
  • Sustainability Club

If you have a student whose interests and talents match these offerings or who is curious and eager to make new friends, please stay tuned and encourage them to join!

Upcoming Middle School Parent Events

Wednesday, September 30th (4:00 pm) - Google Classroom Training

This is a great opportunity to learn more about Google Classroom, as well as to ask our tech coach any questions you may have. This event will be available to parents of 3rd - 8th grade students. To join this event, please click here.

Wednesday, October 7th (2:30 pm) - Math in the Middle School

Come join our amazing math team as we dive a bit deeper into how we approach math in the Middle School. During this session, we will discuss our philosophy and approach to teaching math, explore our reporting standards, and answer any questions you may have.

***We are planning to record and share both events, however both will be engaging and will include ample opportunities for participation, so we encourage you to join in real-time if possible.

Absences and Tardies

In an effort to maintain consistent communication with parents, Renweb will be sending automated emails to parents to update you about the tardies and absences for your student. We hope that these emails will serve as an accountability tool to ensure your child is actively engaged in each of their classes every day.  If you know ahead of time that your student will be missing a day or a class, please reach out to the Middle School Office (  so that we can mark their attendance correctly.
