At ISP, our Forensic Science class utilizes many science disciplines to obtain evidence that can support the legal systems. In this class, students apply concepts of biology, organic and inorganic chemistry, physics, genetics, and anthropology. Students learn to observe, collect, analyze, and evaluate evidence associated with criminal cases. Through scientific reasoning and critical thinking, students evaluate the use of scientific principles as they apply to criminalistics and other life situations. It is great fun to learn explore the studies of toxicology, fiber analysis, fingerprinting, DNA analysis and microscopy. Who knows, you may have a future in Forensic Science!
