After School Activities
The Mission of ISP is “Educating and Inspiring our Students to Reach their Full Potential”. At ISP Education and Inspiring does not only take place inside the classroom. We believe that another important aspect of student life is being involved in After School Activities.
Our diverse menu of After School Activities (ASAs) enhance the curricular offerings for students in grades K-12 at ISP. Whether in the Arts, Academics or Sports we provide an accommodating environment for students to pursue their interests and reach their full potential. Participating in activities after school is also a great way for students to make new friends. We plan for ASA activities to be organized by age-appropriate groupings. Activities are supervised by members of the ISP staff or by out of school instructors that have been screened carefully by the school administration.
The ASA program is not a competitive program, especially in the area of athletics. The focus continues to be on developing the skills necessary for students to excel in order for them to experience success as they make the transition to participate in more competitive and demanding activities such as Athletics or the performing Arts yearly play.
Some reasons why ASA is beneficial to students are:
- Academic Performance
- Community Spirit
- Language Development
- Organizational and Prioritization Skills
- Physical Fitness
