Middle School News

September 26th - 28th - Yearbook Photos

Students will all be taking their photos during their Spanish classes with the exception of Ms. Zapata's 7th grade classes (7.1,7.3,7.7) who will take their photos during WIN on Wednesday the 28th. 

REMINDER! No school for students Thursday the 29th or Friday the 30th.

All teachers will be attending the Tri-Association Educators Conference with teachers from all over Latin America.

Middle School Hilites

To close out their current memoir unit, 8th grade students are participating in the New York Times Tiny Memoir contest in English class. This is an amazing opportunity for our young writers to be published in the world renown New York Times. Stay tuned for some excellent student work!


Mananaland Book Club

Reading is fun in the middle school! Students who chose Ms. Fernandez's WIN Block book club are off to a great start reading and discussing award winning author Pam Munoz Ryan's, Mananaland. Google books has this to say about Mananaland,
